WHAT IS TANTRA?

My Mission...

is to follow the echo of the Divine, both in my own soul and to be of service to others. I aim to help them access and nourish this echo, enabling it to become a powerful beacon lighting their lives from within.

It is to this eternal presence in each individual that I reverently and with great joy offer my work as a healer and teacher.

Personal Biography

Joy and aliveness increase in my life as I walk a path of self-awareness and healing.
I was drawn to healing initially to help myself recover from my own traumatic childhood. Having nourished myself deeply for many years, I feel the gifts of healing bubbling within me and spilling over into my daily life, accompanied with the longing to share these with others.

For the last decade I worked mainly as a Class Teacher at St. Paul’s Rudolf Steiner School in Islington, London. In recent years I have grown a small healing practice alongside my teaching work. Having now left full-time teaching I am dedicated to grow my healing work both for individuals and also in group settings.

I trained and practiced originally as a Shiatsu practitioner. When Reiki swept through the holistic circles I took a course. However I wanted to know more about the subtler aspects of working with energy. So, I embarked on the odyssey of a four-year training in energy healing at a school based in Miami, USA. This was a remarkable journey.

The founder of the school, Barbara Brennan had written a book, which over a couple of decades had become a best seller in many countries. In fact it became a manual for people all over the world who were interested in the human energy field or aura and healing. I joined 600 students ranging in age from 18 to 70+ and a team of highly skilled teachers led by Barbara Brennan.

Over the four years we lived the training. One wise teacher reminded us that we can only heal others to the extent we allow healing to transform our own being, any tools learned are simply frills, the essence is to live this work. I graduated in 2003. Since that time I have studied further, in particular about using sound in healing.

Another stream of my path has been Tantra. I have been immersed in this with my husband Vincent since 2004.
We completed a very intense, seven level, couples training with our beloved teacher Mahasattvaa Sarita at her tantra school, The School of Awakening.
Sarita then nurtured me in a unique teaching apprenticeship. With her blessing I and have now taken flight.
In 2010 Sarita invited me to take on the teaching of levels 1-3 of her couples soul-mate training. It is a great honour for me to offer these precious and unique teachings. I also teach retreats alongside Sarita and the team of School of Awakening trained teachers.

Tantra is a path of awakening. This path of awareness includes the body, the senses, sex, pleasure and relationship. As such it embraces the entirety of our humanity allowing all aspects of ourselves to reveal themselves as doorways to self-knowledge, healing and awakening to reality.

In a very complete way, the spiritual work is accomplished, accompanied with play and laughter, sensuality, and pleasure. This “work” is essentially to deepen our self-awareness. The connection to self opens up richer connectedness to each other and to the mystery of life. The gifts of self-awareness tumble into all aspects of our lives - not simply enriching romantic sexual relationships, but promoting healing, wholeness and a fuller relationship to life itself.
The urge to go deeper is ever present and I have been studying with a true master of healing and awakening Jason Shulman.
I have graduated from his four year training program in Non-dual Healing and Awakening, at his school A Society of Souls.
These profound teachings are weaving into all areas of my own life and the work I offer to others.

It is both my longing and joy to serve with this work.
